Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca, Spain

Mar de Cristal, Madrid, Spain

Laundry Sundays in Spain are when the entire outside air begins smelling of "Fresh Spring" detergent and everyone's most intimate wear is fully airing on display. My favorite is coming across the solely washed under-bottoms stretched to arms-length and clipped at each end with bright plastic clothes pins. There is so much humor to be enjoyed in the no-shame factor of this display. And it's because of this lovely array of colors, patterns, and epically wide "granny panties" that sunny Sundays in Madrid have become my favorite day to run around the city snapping photos. It also seems to be the time I feel most creepy doing so....
